Sew Sunday March 24, 2018 Coasting…

Well..despite my lesson in impulse buying, there are times when I come across somethjng that simply HAS to come home with me.

These cute coaster – just needing to be sewn – fit that description.

Aren’t they ADORABLE?

These may find their way into Christmas gifts at some point but for now they were just a fun little project.

I had a busy week but did spend some time fmq one of the quilts on my PHD list and searching for 1/2 yard of fabric I need for a border on the Dresden quilt. With any luck I will have another quilt checked off my list by next Sunday.

Until then..happy quilting.

I started quilting June 2016 after the announcement that my first grandchild would arrive February 2017. It was an instant and complete only wish I had started earlier.

  1. Those coasters are so cute. Can you tell me what’s the fabric line? Or the info on the selvege? Or where you bought it? I have a plan for them if I can find some of that fabric.

    1. Hi…sorry to take so long to reply. I didn’t make all the coasters yet so I went to find the rest of the fabric so I could get you that information.
I KNOW its here somewhere but at the moment I can’t put my hands on it. I will keep looking and let you know when I find it. I’m sorry! Grrr… Lol

    2. Hi Karen – well, I found the rest of my coasters, but alas, no selvage left. No worries though – as soon as the weather clears up I can easily go back to the fabric store where I purchased it and will send you the details then. I’ll be in touch as soon as I can get there.

    3. Hi Karen
I was in the fabric store today and got you the info you asked for: Stonehenge A Stitch in Time by Deborah Edwards of Northcott.

If you aren’t able to find it I can buy some and send it to you.

  2. Terry, I doubt that I would be able to resist that fabric! How cute! And your finished coasters look great! … oh my … I’m almost tempted to go shopping … but I will resist! Yes, I will!!! Happy Quilting, Cuz!
